Note that there may be multiple M.2 slots, so choose the appropriate

one based on your motherboard's specifications.

     Prepare the SSD:

If the M.2 SSD has a thermal pad or heatsink pre-installed, ensure it is

properly aligned with the M.2 SSD and secure.

Some motherboards may require you to remove a heatsink cover from

the M.2 slot before installation. Refer to your motherboard manual for

specific instructions.

Insert the SSD into the M.2 Slot:

Carefully insert the M.2 SSD into the M.2 slot at a slight angle.

Align the notches on the SSD with the keying on the M.2 slot.

Gently press down on the SSD, ensuring it is fully seated into the slot.

     Secure the SSD:

Depending on your motherboard, there may be a retention mechanism

to secure the M.2 SSD in place.

If applicable, use the provided screw to secure the SSD to the

motherboard. Insert the screw and tighten it snugly but not excessively. Be

careful not to overtighten and damage the SSD.

     Cable Management:

No data or power cables are required for M.2 SSDs as they connect

directly to the motherboard.

However, ensure that any existing cables in the vicinity of the M.2 slot

are neatly managed to avoid obstruction and maintain proper airflow.

     Close the Case:

Once the SSD is securely installed and cables are managed, close your

computer case.

Ensure all screws and fasteners are tightened properly.

     Power On and Initialize:

Plug in the power cable and turn on your computer.

The system should automatically detect the newly installed M.2 SSD.
